Geert Wilders faces trial in january for anti-islam statements

Geert Wilders, leaders of right wing Dutch Freedom Party and Member of the Dutch Parliament, has now recieved the bill of indictment for his trial on january 20th.
The Party published the document on their homepage. The background for the trial are statements that Wilders made – amongst others in his anti-islamic film „Fitna“ – comparing the Koran with „Mein Kampf“ or describing people from Marocco as violent persons that beat up women.

Wilders himself called upon his supporters to come along to the court on the 20th, since he regards this trial as a political one, where he is not criminally but politically prosecuted.
